Chitarra Teramana

These Chitarra’s strings are narrower compared to the one that you can normally find. I’ve asked the Artisan to make a replica of the traditional one from Teramo, like the old one my grandma has.
In addition, this Chitarra is made with beech wood from Abruzzo.

Since we received many requests, I’ve asked a local artisan to make the chitarra frame & string especially for us, respecting the traditional size from Teramo with narrower strings.

The chitarra is completely hand-made from scratch using locally sourced beechwood.

To give an extra edge to the chitarra, I’ve asked my friend and ARTIST Martina, to draw and personalize every single pasta guitar (with a pyrograph) so that you can take home a unique piece of Abruzzo with you.

By buying this chitarra you will contribute to the local economy, keeping the local artisans alive.
